How the 14-day free trial works
What happens to your card during and after the trial, and how to cancel.
Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, with every module included.
Starting the trial
You add a card when you start. The card is held by Stripe, our payment provider. MyDocUploads never sees or stores the card number. Nothing is charged during the 14 days.
Before the trial ends
We email you 3 days before the trial ends, with the amount, the card and how to cancel.
When the trial ends
Your card is charged for the plan and billing cycle you chose: the monthly price, or the full year if you picked annual. Your plan carries on with no interruption.
Cancel during the trial
Cancel in Billing any time before the trial ends, and your card won't be charged. You keep full access until the trial's end date.
After that, your account is read-only: you can still view and download everything, but you can't add anything new. Your organization and its files are deleted 60 days after the plan ends, and we email you 14 days and 3 days before that happens.
Common questions
Can I start without a card?
No. A card is required to start the trial. It isn't charged until the trial ends, and only if you don't cancel.
What if the charge fails at the end of the trial?
Your plan becomes past due and we try the card again over the following days. You keep access while we retry.
